The largest roller coaster at Carowinds is back in operation after repairs were made that shut it down for two weeks, WCNC Charlotte reports.
Fury 325 was closed for a foundation issue on July 7. Carowinds officials said that a slight change in the foundation surrounding one of the ride’s support columns was noticed during an inspection.
A Carowinds spokesperson confirmed that Fury 325 was reopened after Tuesday’s inspection by state officials.
“We are happy to welcome back riders and remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of ride safety,” Carowinds said in a statement.
