Well, with my first playthrough of Shadows Over Loathing clocking in at 21 hours, I can say with confidence that it’s a worthy follow-up. It features the same degree of wit and absurdist humor as its predecessor — and the namesake Kingdom of Loathing browser game — and in many ways gameplay that serves once again as a purely functional vehicle to deliver the story and experience.
