Siri Settlement
This lawsuit alleges that confidential or private communications were allegedly obtained by Apple and/or shared with third parties as a result of an unintended Siri activation. Apple has denied any wrongdoing but has agreed to a settlement.
Who’s Eligible
If you owned or purchased a Siri-enabled device and experienced an unintended Siri activation during a confidential or private communication between September 17, 2014 and December 31, 2024 then you are eligible.
How Much?
Total settlement fund is $95 million and it’s estimated you will receive $20 per eligible device.
Important Dates
- July 2, 2025: Claim, exclusion and objection deadline
- August 1, 2025: Final approval hearing
Final Thoughts
Always worth doing these if your eligible as you never know when you’ll get a larger than expected payout.
