September 11th Memorial Ceremony in Mooresville – Charlotte On The Cheap

Join the Town of Mooresville and the Exchange Club of Mooresville/Lake Norman to honor and remember the lives lost and the heroes who emerged on September 11, 2001.

Thursday, September 11, 2025:

  • 8:45 a.m.: Meet at Richard’s Coffee Shop to begin Silent Remembrance Walk to Liberty Park
  • 9:00 a.m.: Memorial Ceremony at Liberty Park

Addresses:

  • Liberty Park, 255 E Iredell Avenue, Mooresville, NC 28115
  • Richard’s Coffee Shop, 165 N Main Street, Mooresville, NC 28115

A reception with breakfast and refreshments will take place at Richard’s Coffee Shop immediately following the ceremony.

This day of remembrance gives us the opportunity to reflect on the resilience of our nation, pay tribute to first responders and service members, and unite as a community in gratitude and hope for the future.
We invite all to walk, gather, and remember together.
