Search for ‘dangerous suspect’ forces lockdown of daycare and church in Placer County

(FOX40.COM) — The pursuit of a suspicious vehicle in Placer County has forced the lockdown of a daycare center and church, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

A man inside the vehicle ran away when deputies attempted to approach the vehicle.

A perimeter has been established near Fiddyment Road, Baseline Road and Junction Boulevard in southwest Roseville.

The Play Care Learning Center and St. Clare Catholic Church have been placed on lockdown.

The man is to be considered dangerous and is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and wearing a gray sweatshirt and black pants.
