In the spirit of seasonal nostalgia & slowing down, here’s how to infuse a little novelty into your summer!
- Try a new Charlotte restaurant (Uchi/Uchiba, Sharigato and Dōzo are standouts, IMO).
- Revisit an old favorite (Barrington’s hit the spot recently).
- Hunt for treasure at the Chinoiserie Squirrel Pop-Up.
- Go see a $5 throwback movie Uptown.
- Buy yourself farmers market flowers.
- Have an Uptown museum day (The Mint, Betchler, Harvey B. Gantt Center)
- Check out the Titanic exhibit (here through early July)
- Take all the clothes you don’t wear to JT Posh or Eternal.
- Get a library card and do some summer reading!
- Head to the mountains for a hike, or low-key weekend.
- Take family walks/bike rides along dif rail trails.
