Samuel L. Jackson is reportedly in talks to play the President of the United States in a new film that has an incredible-sounding concept. Deadline reports that Jackson will play the Commander in Chief in a film called The Beast, which will also star Suicide Squad’s Joel Kinnaman.

According to the report, The Beast is now in pre-production and has secured an interim agreement from SAG-AFTRA to move forward amid the ongoing Hollywood strikes.

The Beast focuses on a presidential limo called “The Beast,” which is filled with grenades, shotguns, armor plates, and other systems to keep the people inside safe. The limo is later attacked by people trying to overthrow the US government, and Jackson steps up to kick some presidential butt.

“Separated from his wife, the president must learn to control The Beast–and the monster inside himself–in order to save his life, the life of Secret Service agent Taft (Kinnaman) and America,” the report said.

This won’t be Jackson’s first time playing the president, as he also played the head of state in the 2014 movie Big Game. The Beast will be directed by James Madigan (The Meg, Transformers: Rise of the Beast), based on a script from Umair Aleem (Kate).

Jackson has appeared in more than 150 Hollywood productions, and has starred in major franchises like Star Wars and multiple Marvel series. He earned an Academy Award nomination for Pulp Fiction.
