(FOX40.COM) — A Sacramento County woman allegedly stabbed her child, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.
According to the sheriff’s office, the attack occurred while the 10-year-old was in the shower at a home on Angelina Drive around 8:30 p.m.
The father held the mother down until law enforcement arrived, the sheriff’s office said. The father was also injured.
The child was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
