Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to take part in a special Security Council session Wednesday at the United Nations on the war ravaging his country, in the hope of solidifying support from Western allies and beyond. Addressing fellow world leaders at the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday, Zelensky said that Ukraine would not settle for any peace plan that did not include Russia’s full withdrawal from Ukrainian territory. President Biden vowed sustained support for Kyiv, adding that “Russia alone has the power to end this war immediately.”
