The Princess of Wales surprised spectators waiting in Wimbledon’s legendary overnight queue, chatting with fans, posing for selfies, and helping staff hand out tickets, before she spent time thanking the All England Club’s Honorary Stewards who help run the event lines and met with children from the Merton-based Shine Camera Club.
Instead of sitting in the standard VIP enclosure, she opted for general courtside seats on Court 18 and Court 1, watching British athletes and chatting alongside tennis icon Sir Andy Murray.
