With nearly 30 offers on his resume and numerous spring visits behind him, four-star offensive lineman John Wayne Oliver is now focuses on three schools – Ole Miss, TCU, and Auburn.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound prospect is already very familiar with all three programs after taking spring visits to each. He already has official visits set with Ole Miss on June 9th and TCU on June 15th.
Oliver is set to return to Auburn on Monday and camp with the Tigers and will likely set up an official visit with the staff then.
ON TCU: “They have been recruiting me for the longest time on my list. I got the chance to see their national championship run while having an offer from them, which was pretty cool. It’s very similar to my high school in the fact that it’s a small private Christian school.”
ON OLE MISS: “I really feel like I have a good connection and relationship with the coaches there. Their 2024 commitments have been recruiting me too, which is pretty cool. I like that it’s close to home and I have a lot of family in Mississippi.”
ON AUBURN: “I’ve visited there the most on this list. I like Coach (Hugh) Freeze and his coaching style and vision for Auburn. I’m going back tomorrow to camp and see if I like how Coach (Jake) Thornton the OL coach coaches.”
