Rita Ora appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday night wearing a hot pink Versace lingerie look that puts all other Barbiecore devotees to shame. Ora performed her new single “You Only Love Me,” lighting up the stage in the fluorescent hue from head to toe. The ensemble was comprised of an underwire lace and satin mini chemise, matching tights, fingerless gloves, and a massive chiffon bow atop her head. Her magenta heels boasted a sky-high platform and a holographic sheen, and she piled on a bunch of diamond jewels. Ora’s curly hair fell around her shoulders and down her back, and she opted for smokey eye makeup.
Ora’s outfit was meant to be a take on Madonna‘s famous “Like A Virgin” vibe, albeit in pink rather than classic white. The boudoir-inspired number was Ora’s second look of the show, as she originally sat down on the couch to chat with Fallon in a David Koma two-piece made of silver sequins. The cropped turtleneck top and micro miniskirt were coordinated with strappy black heeled sandals, and proved she could turn heads in both metallics and vibrant color alike.
Ora is currently on a press tour to promote her new era of music on the heels of her single release. What’s more, she’s publicly confirmed her nuptials to director Taika Waititi, with the couple having tied the knot last summer. Naturally, she’s also bringing her unique emerald engagement ring into the spotlight, showing off its beauty with noteworthy pavé diamonds surrounding the central square stone. Having just performed this past week at the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Dress Collection Concert in a sheer, floor-sweeping asymmetrical gown, this all-pink wardrobe choice is one of many to talk about for the 32-year-old singer. Even her skin-baring black leather skirt for a stop by “Live With Kelly & Ryan” made headlines.
