Reward offered for information on illegal dumpers in Del Paso Heights

(FOX40.COM) — Sacramento is offering cash rewards to anyone who can provide information that will lead to the citation or arrest of illegal dumpers in the Del Paso Heights area.

On Oct. 16, a large pile of trash was dumped around 1:43 a.m. on Presidio Street by a large dump truck and a modified van, according to the city.

Inside the pile was a brown couch, wood, pallets, cardboard boxes, office furniture and other items.

The vehicles are described as a white or yellow truck with lights on the top and a possibly black dumpster with white spray paint on it.

The van seen with the truck is described as being white and possibly orange with the rear half missing.

A cash reward of $500 to $1,000 will be awarded to those who provide information that leads to a citation or arrest. Contact sacrecycle@cityofsacramento.org or 916-808-4808 and reference Case No. 24-040509.
