Do you mean apart from the fact that it’s a collaboration between Mew Suppasit and SUHO? Because we are sure we weren’t the only ones who actually had their alarm turned on for this release despite its title, ‘Turn Off The Alarm.’👀

We love it when our worlds collide (worlds meaning K-Pop and T-Pop, if you were wondering). And Mew Suppasit has been making sure it happens quite frequently with his global releases. Previously with ‘FOREVER LOVE’ featuring BUMKEY and ‘Before 4:30 (She Said…)’ featuring Sam Kim, for example.

For those who are not yet familiar with Mew Suppasit (welcome to the fam, you’re gonna love it here🥰), he is a Thai actor, singer-songwriter, and producer who isn’t only loved for his BL roles but also acknowledged as the first-ever Thai artist to enter Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, with several of his songs making it into the top 10. Meanwhile, SUHO is the leader of the K-pop mega group EXO, who is globally loved also as a solo artist and actor. So even though this collab came as a huge surprise, immediately breaking Twitter trends, their profiles—and apparently their Star Wars phone cases—are more than matching even if fans haven’t connected the dots before.

Those Voices Together, Hello?!

Their warm voices blend perfectly with each other, sliding effortlessly together like the silkiest peanut butter and your favorite jam. We are not sure either where this analogy came from besides PB&J sandwiches being just as comforting as ‘Turn Off The Alarm,’ while it also describes the song’s smoothness and sweetness efficiently.💁‍♀️The charming, mid-tempo melody of the tracks and the cozy harmony between the artists created the exact vibe we needed for a new feel-good song for this fall. 

The Photobook

Although we are yet to get our hands on the physical photobook and actually go through it all, from what we’ve seen from the teasers (and music video), it’s a full-on fashion statement as it is. Just as with his art, Mew Suppasit seems to be breaking boundaries once again, representing fashion’s no-gender properties.
