PORTLAND, Oregon — A Winter Weather Advisory is up until 11 am Thursday above 4,000 feet in the Cascades, for 2 to 5 inches of new snow. 

Overnight rainfall will end early Thursday morning as warmer air moves in.  Thursday’s temperatures climb into the mid-60s. The afternoon will be partly sunny.

Friday begins dry but ends wet. Rain Friday night carries over into and through Saturday, with showers continuing Sunday.

Weekend highs will be in the 50s.

Heavy snow falls again in the Cascades above 4,000 feet. There may be over two feet of new over the weekend.

Showers continue through mid-week. There’s a chance for warmer and dry weather at the end of next week.
