Current Qantas Group CFO Vanessa Hudson will succeed CEO Alan Joyce when he retires in November, the carrier announced Tuesday. Hudson has been with the airline for more than 28 years and previously was chief customer officer and SVP across the Americas and New Zealand, according to the carrier. Hudson will continue in her role during the transition and join the board of directors. A new CFO will be announced “in the months ahead.”
