We are huge fans of Great Jones at The Kitchn — despite launching only a few years ago, the direct-to-consumer brand is quickly earning a top spot among well-established names like Le Creuset and Staub. Their vibrant baking sheet has repeatedly won a place on our annual Kitchn Essentials list, where we recognize the best of the best of kitchen cookware and tools. Their Dutch oven received our stamp of approval with how well it performed (and how adorable it looked, of course). Their Small Fry even replaced one of our writer’s go-to sauté pans. I could go on, but you get the idea: You really can’t go wrong with a piece of Great Jones cookware.

Another selling point? The brand is way more budget-friendly than a lot of competitors on the market. What if I told you you could get a Dutch oven, baking sheet, and fry pan for under $200? If you think that sounds too good to be true, let me assure you: It’s not. Great Jones is offering the aforementioned bundle at just $160 right now, which is over $60 cheaper than normal. If the price alone doesn’t convince you, read on for why this set is a total score.

What is The Starting Lineup?

As the name suggests, the Starting Lineup pieces are not only going to be the first items you reach for in your kitchen. It’s also catered specifically to beginner cooks. It’s the perfect set to start your collection — and likely, you won’t need to buy much more to complete it, thanks to how many tasks these three items can handle.

In addition to working with all stovetops, each piece is oven-safe, dishwasher-safe, nonstick, and nontoxic. It comes with the Dutch Baby (a smaller version of the Dutchess, which it can nest inside if you already have that one), the Small Fry, and the Little Sheet (a quarter-size version of the Holy Sheet). They come in vivid Taffy pink, Broccoli, Blueberry, and Mustard, too, so you’ll definitely find a color that’ll liven up your kitchen.

The rundown of each item? We found that the Dutchess, which is oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, “heated up impressively evenly” and “browned just as well as [our] Le Creuset,” so we have no doubt that the more compact version is just as impressive. As for the Small Fry, in addition to producing high quality sautéed veggies, the “cleanup was quick and a total non-issue: There were no burnt-on, crispy bits to labor over with a dish sponge,” according to contributor Rochelle Bilow. Similarly, when we tested the Holy Sheet, the nonstick ceramic-coating made cleanup a breeze, and the aluminized steel  build ensures that it won’t warp.

What Great Jones Reviewers are Saying

Beginner cook or not, you really can’t beat this incredible deal — and you’ll be hard-pressed to find cookware that looks as great as these do. Don’t wait to take advantage of the sale price!
