Our tips for Saturday’s top-flight action include positive results for West Ham and Burnley, and a win against Chelsea for Aston Villa.

The weekend welcomes gameweek 35 in the Premier League and there are crucial fixtures up and down the top flight.

There are seven big fixtures on Saturday, with relegation-threatened Luton heading to Wolves and fellow strugglers Burnley heading to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

Liverpool’s title hopes suffered a major blow with defeat in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday and the Reds travel to West Ham in Saturday’s lunchtime kickoff.

Aston Villa will be looking to cement their top-four position when they host a Chelsea side still licking their wounds from Tuesday’s 5-0 loss at Arsenal.

West Ham v Liverpool (12:30)

There are a number of short-priced favourites on Saturday’s Premier League card and at least a couple of them look worth opposing.

Liverpool’s title hopes evaporated at Goodison Park on Wednesday night and there are no guarantees that the Reds will bounce back at West Ham.

Jurgen Klopp’s men face their fourth away game in 10 days at the London Stadium and they are a side that are failing to take their chances, while conceding plenty of goals at the other end.

Liverpool have kept only one clean sheet in their last 12 matches in all competitions and they look vulnerable against a West Ham side that have beaten Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Man Utd this season.

Man Utd v Burnley (15:00)

Burnley are in desperate need of points if they are to avoid a return to the Championship, but the Clarets look capable of upsetting the Red Devils at Old Trafford.

United are 1/2 on the match betting market, but that looks an incredibly short price for a team that has won only one of their last seven matches inside 90 minutes.

The Red Devils twice had to come from behind against the Premier League’s bottom club Sheffield United in midweek and also required a penalty shootout to get past Championship Coventry in the FA Cup semi-finals,

Burnley have suffered just one defeat from their last seven top-flight matches, moving them three points from safety, and they can pick up a positive result at Old Trafford.

Aston Villa v Chelsea (20:00)

Chelsea were destroyed 5-0 by Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday night and the Blues could be in for more away disappointment when they head to Villa Park.

Aston Villa have been in fantastic scoring form on their own patch this season, scoring a joint-high 43 goals in the Premier League, and they are likely to get plenty of chances to add to that tally against the Blues.

Mauricio Pochettino’s troops have conceded 32 times from 16 away assignments in the league and they look set for another miserable road outing.
