Philadelphia police are searching for the suspect in a shooting that left a man dead in Philadelphia earlier this month.
On Tuesday, Oct. 28, police identified Francisco Fernandez as the suspect in the deadly shooting of 36-year-old Darnell Brown.
On Saturday, Oct. 18, around 7:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on 33rd and York streets near a gas station. When police arrived, they found Brown suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:51 p.m.
Investigators determined Fernandez and Brown both exited a store moments before the shooting. Surveillance video showed the two men talking as they walked away, according to police. Fernandez then pulled out a gun and shot Brown once in the chest before fleeing on foot, investigators said.
Police have not yet determined a possible motive for the shooting.

Fernandez is considered armed and dangerous. Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
