SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man was hit and killed in Sacramento Saturday night, according to police.

The Sacramento Police Department says the crash happened around 9:19 p.m. on Folsom Boulevard near Julliard Drive. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by Sacramento Fire Department officials after having too significant of injuries. 

Police say the driver stayed at the scene. It’s currently unclear how the crash happened. 

An investigation is underway and police ask anyone with information to call them at 916-808-5471 or contact Sacramento Valley Crime Stoppers at 916-443-4357.
