DENVER (KDVR) — Denver police are investigating a deadly Saturday night auto-pedestrian crash near Sloans Lake.
The crash happened near West 17th Avenue and North Sheridan Boulevard, police said in a 10:46 p.m. Saturday post on X.
The crash involved a vehicle and a pedestrian, and the pedestrian died, police said.
Police initially called the crash a hit-and-run but later said the driver did stay at the scene.
Sheridan Boulevard was closed during the initial investigation but has since reopened as of Sunday morning.
