Local police discovered and destroyed over 2,000 fully grown marijuana plants and dried marijuana stalks in Kibungan, Benguet on Sunday, February 26.

According to the authorities, this has an estimated sale value of P5,956,000 and weighs ove 45 kilos. Reports also show that the plants were planted in a public lot that is considered a communal forest.

No suspects were arrested during the operation but Benguet police continue to conduct investigations.
