While speaking to Philadelphia radio station 93.3 WMMR, Ozzy Osbourne discussed the follow-album to last year’s solo effort, Patient Number Nine. After releasing two albums in four years—the aforementioned and 2020’s Ordinary ManOsbourne says that he has plans for another but that it might take a bit longer this time.

“Being laid up for about five years because of the surgery thing and the fall I had, I was going nuts,” Osbourne told the radio station (via Blabbermouth). “So I met Andrew Watt and we did a couple of albums together. And I’m waiting for him to get free to do another album. ‘Cause everybody wants to use him now.”

Speaking on the songwriting process, the Ozzman said that he likes to enter the studio with songs already finished or mostly finished but that he changed the process up a bit on the last two albums with Watt.

If you heard the last two Ozzy albums, you probably noticed that they were stacked with notable guests; that won’t be the case on the next record, according to the singer. We can expect “maybe one” appearance from someone else.

There’s no timeline on release but there’s a plan for recording.

“I’m just starting to work on it now, and we’ll be recording in the early part of next year,” Ozzy says. “I want to take my time with this one.”

In other Osbournes news, Sharon doesn’t believe Ozzy‘s story about snorting ants and thinks it was made up for publicity with Mötley Crüe.

“I was not there, thank God. I used to try and stay away from Mötley when they were with Ozzy. And I don’t know. I honestly don’t know. All I know is that I think it made their movie. And I wanna know why, now we’re on the subject, of why, when they advertise their movie on Netflix, it’s a picture of a guy imitating Ozzy. Why isn’t the ad campaign a picture of Mötley Crüe? Why is it a picture of your father?”
