Ozymandias Bronze Age Empire Sim Direct Download:

At the dawn of history, Bronze Age kings built the first empires. Strategize their rise to power in a uniquely streamlined 4X. Expand your borders, build cities in tactical locations then raise armies to defend them. Each turn, you receive opportunities but must choose only one, complete the objective to earn the reward. Random victory conditions make every game different; custom victory conditions support different styles of play.

Focus on strategy over tactics, we’ve stripped the busywork out of 4X gameplay. Combat abstracted into an innovative Power system, you only move armies and fleets. 8 handmade maps charting Bronze Ages around the world. 52 empires to play, traits give each a unique set of challenges. All of the mechanics feel interesting, with no real waste or bloat. Plenty of maps and civilizations and multiplayer also add a ton of replayability.

Exactly as advertised. Its a streamlined “4x” you can play in a sitting and as addictive as civ. It may not have the same hundreds of hours of replayability as civ but I can see myself continuing to pick it up more often given the short play sessions. I have been enjoying playing this game. Like others though, I think that a few updates are definitely needed. I would love a purpose to the different maps. Like if there were a system where you needed a certain number of guests or to make them a certain percentage happy or something to complete the map it would be nice. It sort of feels like I don’t know what they point is of the game, at times.
