PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Although outdoor activities are dwindling down, there are still plenty of things to do in Portland.
Check out these seven events scheduled through this weekend.
“One Battle After Another” In 70MM
When: Several showtimes from Friday, Oct. 10
Where: Hollywood Theatre, 4122 NE Sandy Blvd. Portland, OR 97212
The Hollywood Theatre claims to be the only Oregon or Washington theater screening “One Battle After Another” in the 70mm format. The film, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, stars Leonardo DiCaprio as a “washed-up revolutionary.”
Kurtis Conner: The Goodfellow World Tour
When: Friday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
Where: Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, 1037 SW Broadway, Portland, OR 97205
Kurtis Conner was named among Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch just two years ago. The YouTuber, comic and “Very Really Good” podcast host is on an ongoing theater tour across the U.S. and Canada.
FashioNXT
When: Friday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m.
Where: One Financial Center, 121 SW Morrison St, Portland, OR 97204
After opening night, FashioNXT has two more runway shows in store — featuring pieces from
West Coast designers, including Nadine Makboul, Marina Safina and Sueno. Musical guests are set to perform as well.
Oaktober Fest
When: Saturday, Oct. 11 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Bauman’s on Oak, 930 SE Oak St, Portland, OR 97214
This seasonal block party from Bauman’s On Oak will feature live music, baby goats, face painting and more. The bar will also serve its own cider and cider slushies.
Oregon Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
When: Saturday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m.
Where: Aladdin Theater, 3017 SE Milwaukie Ave, Portland, OR 97202
Portugal. The Man, Casey Neill and Modest Mouse are among the artists being inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame. The ceremony will also include performances, some from acts who are being honored this year.
Bert Kreischer: Permission to Party
When: Sunday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m.
Where: Moda Center, 1 N Center Ct St, Portland, OR 97227
Bert Kreischer kicked off his stand-up tour just months after his latest comedy special, “Lucky,” premiered on Netflix. In addition to his stint of headlining shows, the comedian is set to star in his own series for the streaming service, titled “Free Bert.”
My Favorite Murder
When: Sunday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

After launching in 2016, “My Favorite Murder” boasts about 35 million downloads per month. Hosts Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark are bringing their true crime stories to listeners live.
