A 24-year-old man died when his car was slammed from behind and forced over the median on Brooklyn’s Belt Parkway, where he was then struck by a driver headed in the opposite direction, police said Tuesday.
The victim was heading toward Queens in a Toyota Prius when he was hit from behind by a BMW driver near the Flatbush Ave. exit about 10:25 p.m. Monday, cops said.
The crash pushed the Prius over the median, at which point the driver of a Honda CR-V heading the other way slammed into the victim’s car.
Medics rushed the victim to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn but he could not be saved.
The 35-year-old woman driving the Honda and the BMW driver remained at the scene and faced no immediate charges. Police are still investigating the crash.
