Northern California man shoots at several homeless people with AR-15, police say

(FOX40.COM) — A man was arrested in Sutter County after he allegedly fired gunshots at multiple homeless individuals on Sunday night, according to the Yuba City Police Department.

Around 11:30 p.m., YCPD said it was dispatched to 2nd Street for a report of shots fired at several transients. When officers arrived at the scene they found the suspect in his vehicle. Police said he was accompanied by three women.

Officials said K9 Rip helped officers search the area for evidence and discovered an AR-15 with a 30-round magazine in the driver’s seat and a casing. Archuleta was booked into the Sutter County Jail in connection with multiple offenses.
