The Lady Mustangs are riding some streak with the playoffs opening next week. After securing a share of the District 9-6A title, the girls enter the postseason having won 13 games in a row.

In fact, they finished the regular season with a record of 19-1-1, and will now look to carry that success over to the next chapter of the season. That chapter starts next Tuesday against North Forney.

The Lady Falcons (9-11-1) finished fourth in District 10-6A. While they have not seen Sachse yet, they did take on a pair of the Lady Mustangs’ district foes, defeating Lakeview Centennial 2-0 and falling to Wylie 1-0.

Sachse swept both teams this season by a combined score of 18-2. In fact, the girls have one of the most impressive goal-differentials in Class 6A, having scored 130 goals while giving up just nine.

The two teams will face off at Eagle-Mustang Stadium next Tuesday, March 26 at 6 p.m.
