NITA STRAUSS Taps TikTok Star For Vocals On Upcoming Tour

Guitarist Nita Strauss has had quite the year, leaving Alice Cooper‘s band to play with Demi Lovato before rejoining Cooper and announcing a solo record of her own. The album features a who’s who of guest vocalists, so it left a few questions when Strauss announced the tour in the first place. Would she use a backing track? Hire someone? Play instrumentally?

All questions have been answered today, when Strauss announced vocalist Kasey Karlsen will hit the road with Strauss and her band. Karlsen is a TikTok creator who has over 500,000 followers and posts covers of Slipknot, Bring Me the Horizon and others.

“We needed someone fearless and versatile for this tour who could handle tons of different vocal styles,” Strauss said. “If you’ve seen Kasey‘s videos you already know she can do it all. She is going to destroy these stages and we are beyond excited to have her with us!!”

Strauss hits the road starting on June 13, joined by Lions At the Gate, which features former members of Ill Niño and Westfield Massacre. Grab tickets now.
