A New Hampshire inmate is facing new charges after he allegedly tried to solicit the murder of two people while behind bars.
Keene police said they began investigating an attempt by an inmate at the Cheshire County House of Corrections to solicit the murder of two people earlier this month. During their investigation, communications between the inmate — 45-year-old Edward LePore — and another non-inmate were monitored by police detectives.
At the conclusion of their investigation, LePore was arrested at the Cheshire County House of Corrections on a warrant charging him with conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation to commit murder. He was held without bail and scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday in Keene District Court.
Anyone with additional information about the incident or LePore is urged to contact Keene Police Detective Don Lundin at 603-357-9820.
