A New Mexico mother, who was diagnosed with leukemia following previous chemotherapy treatments, met with her stem cell donor. Doctors said it was ideal for Christine Chen to find a donor within her own race, but only 9% of donors on the nation’s largest stem cell registry are Asian. Carter Evans shares the story.
