Brooklyn Nets forward Keita Bates-Diop underwent a procedure to address a stress fracture in his right tibia and will miss the rest of the season.

Bates-Diop is expected to return to on-court activity in approximately one month, the Nets said in Wednesday’s announcement.

Bates-Diop, 28, is averaging 3.7 points and 2.1 rebounds in 53 games (eight starts) this season split with the Nets and Phoenix Suns. He was sent from Phoenix to Brooklyn as part of a three-team trade on Feb. 8.

He has averaged 6.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 16.1 minutes in 283 career games (67 starts) with five teams since being drafted in the second round by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2018.
