According to the Police Headquarters, the duo were apprehended on Saturday evening from Jagarnathpur Dhat in Birgunj Metropolitan City–22 with the illegal narcotic substance.
KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Parsa Police have arrested two individuals with around 240 kilograms of hashish. Those arrested are 29-year-old Saroj Moktan of Thaha Municipality–11, Makwanpur, and 21-year-old Nawaraj Lo.
According to the Police Headquarters, the duo were apprehended on Saturday evening from Jagarnathpur Dhat in Birgunj Metropolitan City–22 with the illegal narcotic substance.
Police recovered the charas from a truck (Na 3 Kha 5093) that was traveling from Makwanpur to Birgunj. The contraband had been concealed in a specially made false compartment above the truck’s cabin. The driver, Moktan, and co-driver, Lo, were taken into custody following the seizure, police said.
