MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WSPA) — A Marion woman was charged with multiple counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
According to the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office, Hannah Owensby, 25, was charged with second degree sexual exploitation of a child and felonious third degree sexual exploitation of a child.
Owensby was issued a $300,000 secured bond.
Officials began investigating the 25-year-old on March 18, after deputies received a report regarding the possible exploitation of a child.
Electronic devices were taken from Owensby’s home, and investigators found sexually explicit images of children on the devices seized.
Owensby was charged and arrested on June 6.
