Authorities are investigating after a golf course worker in New Jersey stumbled across the body of a woman, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Essex County prosecutors announced the investigation in partnership with Livingston police.
Officials say a worker at Cedar Hill Golf Course in Livingston discovered the body Tuesday morning, prosecutors say, but they have released little other information.
The woman’s cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy. Her identity has not been confirmed.
