Multiple people injured in traffic collision in San Francisco

(KRON) — Multiple people were injured in a traffic collision in San Francisco Friday evening, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

SF police responded to a report of a collision involving two vehicles in the area of Mission Street and Onondaga Avenue at approximately 5:37 p.m.

SFPD arrived on the scene and located all the vehicles and parties involved. Officers reported that a total of 12 people were involved in the collision.

Paramedics responded to the scene to render aid and transport four victims to a local hospital for their non-life-threatening injuries, according to SFPD. Eight victims were medically treated on the scene but not transported.

Officers reported that impairment due to drugs or alcohol did not appear to be factors in the incident.

SFPD said the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
