Mother, three children dead after Fremont, Indiana house fire

FREMONT, Ind. — The Indiana State Police and Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating a fatal structure fire that claimed the lives of a mother and her three children early Saturday morning

The Fremont Fire Department was dispatched around 5 a.m. to a home in Fremont, Indiana and arrived to find a working fire, according to authorities. 

Mutual aid quickly arrived from other local fire departments.

Firefighters discovered the three children and their mother inside the structure and they were reportedly located in the same room.

All four victims were transported to a local hospital in nearby Angola, Indiana where the children were all pronounced deceased.
