Climate Conversations: The Language of Trees Art Exhibition
Friday, April 12, 6 – 9p & Sunday, April 14, 1 – 5p
Climate Conversations: The Language of Trees is an interactive art exhibition featuring drawings, sketches, and paintings from Charlotte artist Wil Bosbyshell’s ongoing Trees series. The exhibition will feature over 35 artworks, including 15 large-scale drawings, sketches, paintings, and silk screens. Hanging banners amidst the drawings will mimic a walk in the forest among falling leaves, and viewers are invited to share their own memories or experiences with trees by hanging their stories on a community memory tree.

Moo, Brew & ‘Que Music Fest 
April 12 – 14
Get your feel of BBQ, beer, burgers and music packed into one weekend at AvidXchange Music Factory Grounds. Taste over 50 beers while you listen to musical performances from artists like The Revivalists, Hippo Campus, and Flipturn.

The Masters Weekend at Brewers at 4001 Yancey
April 11 – 14
Join Brewers at 4001 Yancey to watch and celebrate The Masters all weekend long. There’ll be golf games and activities in their Beer Garden, specialty cocktails and slushies, and each round will have sound so that you can feel like you’re walking the grounds in Augusta, GA.

Beer Mile Run

Family First: The Standard Jazz Workshop at Harvey B. Gantt Center

Charlotte StrEATs Tasting Tour

Festival-goers will taste their way through Charlotte’s iconic neighborhoods enjoying tastes from 20 restaurants. These restaurants are all locally-owned and are chosen specifically because their food is some of the best in the city. Attendees will enjoy bites from each while sipping on craft cocktails and listening to live music. The event will take place at Gateway Village in the heart of Uptown. This year’s celebrity guest will be Chef Aarón Sánchez,an award-winning chef, TV personality, author and philanthropist. His television career spans over two decades starring on hit shows such as Food Network’s Chopped and the Emmy-nominated series Taco Trip

Arts+ Spring Festival

Celebrate Arts+ joining Plaza Midwood at its new location, Plaza Presbyterian Church. To introduce themselves to the neighborhood, they’ll be hosting a day filled with musical performances and interactive activities. All is welcome to attend this free event. 5 Course Beer vs Wine Dinner
On April 15th (Tax Day), Reid’s Fine Foods Myers Park will host a 5-course Beer vs Wine Dinner. Attendees are invited to indulge in an evening of friendly competition between wine and beer, exploring which pairs best with the Chef’s selections. Guests will have the opportunity to vote on their preferred pairing for each dish, adding an element of excitement to the event. Limited seating is available, and two lucky guests will depart with a surprise gift.
