A man is in the hospital Saturday after being stabbed Saturday in Wake County.
According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call referencing a stabbing around 11:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of Moores Creek Drive near Knightdale.
When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a stab wound. EMS transferred the man to a local hospital.
The status of his injuries is currently unknown.
Deputies are currently investigating the crime scene and the circumstances leading up to the stabbing.
According to the sheriff’s office, there is no threat to the community, and the stabbing was an isolated incident.
