A person is in custody after Volusia County sheriff’s deputies said they shot their neighbor Wednesday morning. The shooting happened at the Luna Sands RV Resort on Minnesota Avenue in Orange City. The victim was a man who was shot in the shoulder. Investigators said he is alert and talking. The gunman was taken into custody after Orange City Police and the sheriff’s office’s SWAT units arrived.
