A man is in jail Friday after police officers said he killed a man and injured another in a shooting at a Raleigh nightclub earlier in August.
Raleigh police officers responded to a call at the Patio Nightclub around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, about a shooting. When officers arrived, they determined the shooting occurred in the parking lot of the club.
Officers found two men shot, one with non-life threatening injuries and the other with critical injuries. Both were taken to the hospital, where one man died.
On Friday, police identified 19-year-old Jonathan David Bonilla-Ramos as a suspect and arrested him. Bonilla-Ramos was charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
Police told WRAL News that their investigation is ongoing.
