Man arrested for stealing over ,000 from DC CVS locations

The man was charged with 23 counts of theft.

WASHINGTON — A 64-year-old man faces charges for allegedly stealing over 6,000 dollars in goods from CVS locations in Northwest D.C.

On Thursday, officers located and arrested Craig Wilson of Northwest D.C. pursuant to an arrest warrant. In total he was accused of stealing 6,699 dollars of merchandise. He was charged with 23 counts of second-degree theft for the offenses below:

  • On June 19, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $131.26 of merchandise.
  • On June 19, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $293.60 of merchandise. 
  • On June 22, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $167.05 of merchandise.
  • On June 23, from the CVS located in the 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, Northwest, for stealing $16.21 of merchandise.
  • On June 29, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $100 of merchandise.
  • On June 29, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $428.59 of merchandise.
  • On July 20, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $352.46 of merchandise. 
  • On July 20, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $151.04 of merchandise. 
  • On July 26, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $152.35 of merchandise.
  • On July 28, from the CVS located in the 1600 block of P Street, Northwest, for stealing $600 of merchandise.
  • On July 29, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $96.60 of merchandise.

  • On August 6, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $75 of merchandise.
  • On August 7, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $250.65 of merchandise.
  • On August 13, from the CVS located in the 1600 block of P Street, Northwest, for stealing $50 of merchandise.
  • On August 14, from the CVS located in the 1600 block of P Street, Northwest, for stealing $120 of merchandise.
  • On August 16, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $592.31 of merchandise.
  • On August 18, from the CVS located in the 1600 block of P Street, Northwest, for stealing $200 of merchandise.
  • On August 18, from the CVS located in the 1600 block of P Street, Northwest, for stealing $488 of merchandise.
  • On August 19, from the CVS located in the 1600 block of P Street, Northwest, for stealing $672.31 of merchandise. 
  • On August 19, from the CVS located in the 1000 block of 16th Street, Northwest, for stealing $389.99 of merchandise. 
  • On August 29, from the CVS located in the 1600 block of P Street, Northwest, for stealing $400 of merchandise.
  • On September 9, from the CVS located in the 1600 block of P Street, Northwest, for stealing $279.53 of merchandise.

These thefts come after CVS announced it would be closing some of its D.C. locations and after several of their stores were targeted in similar thefts.
