Conservative firebrand Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene said at a rally that if Republicans win back the House, “not another penny” would go to Ukraine, kicking off a social media spat with neoconservative, America Last Rep. Liz Cheney.

Greene (R-GA), speaking at a rally in Sioux City, Iowa on Thursday, said the blank checks to fund Ukraine’s war effort would be shut off should there be a massive GOP victory in the midterms.

“The only border they care about is Ukraine, not America’s southern border,” she told those in attendance.

“Under Republicans, not another penny will go to Ukraine,” added Greene. “Our country comes first. They don’t care about our border or our people.”

Liz Cheney Tries to Pick a Fight With Marjorie Taylor Greene

While we admire Marjorie Taylor Greene’s enthusiasm and don’t doubt for a moment that she personally would fight to keep money needed for Americans from being funneled to Ukraine, the RINOs in the House aren’t going to go along with it.

Speaking of RINOs, Liz Cheney and her perpetually sad face took notice of Greene’s comments and did what any good Democrat-in-training does – denounce efforts to put America first as “doing Putin’s bidding.”

“This is exactly what Putin wants,” she said. “If we’d had Republicans like this in the 1980s, we would have lost the Cold War.”

‘This is exactly what Putin wants’ is a phrase used so often by the left and warmongering Republicans that they might as well file a trademark.

Greene Fires Back at Cheney – Only Thing in the Past is You

Marjorie Taylor Greene fired back at Liz Cheney, by pointing to two things that are true relics of the past – a couple of washed-up Cheneys.

“There are two things that are in the past,” Greene asserts. “You and your Daddy’s Republican Party that sent our military to fight foreign wars on the backs of American tax dollars and didn’t win a damn thing,” and “You.”

Ouch.

Cheney responded this morning with more sophomoric gibberish:

She’s a worn-out record that keeps skipping on the same phrase.

Back in March, Cheney accused House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of “protecting” Republicans like Greene who are allegedly “pro-Putin,” “anti-Semitic,” and “white nationalist.”

Greene has been a consistent voice of reason when it comes to wantonly sending taxpayer dollars to Ukraine.

“How does that help Americans? How does any of this help?” she wondered following the passage of a $40 billion aid package in May.

That was on top of the $14 billion aid package in March and before the $12 billion in aid to Ukraine approved by Congress last month.

The Political Insider reported in October that lawmakers from both parties are reportedly seeking to lock in a staggering $50 billion in additional military aid for Ukraine before a new Congress is sworn in this January.

McCarthy has said “there should be no blank check on anything” involving Ukraine in the future.

Let’s hope Greene holds him to that. Cheney, at least, won’t be able to spur him on, having lost her primary in August.
