SVDDEN DEATH packs a mighty punch in this 14-minute mix of bold four-on-the-floor beats.

The self-proclaimed “#1 hater of house music” is showcasing his own original spin on the genre.

SVDDEN DEATH has once again proven he’s got a knack for the art of surprise. The acclaimed bass music heavyweight, who was named one of EDM.com‘s best music producers of 2022, dropped a new mix that shows his larger-than-life energy and grungy sonics translate impressively well into the world of house music.

In his “Deadroom Showcase 2023,” SVDDEN DEATH sews together a fierce string of four-on-the-floor bangers that bring the heat from start to finish. Writing in a post on Instagram, he confirmed the 14-minute mix comprises entirely original house music.

The showcase is full of frenetic leads, glitched out effects and chunky, distorted basslines. SVDDEN DEATH operates boldly and comfortably in the house music wheelhouse, even piercing the brisk 140 BPM threshold on occasion to dip into the less-occupied waters of hard dance.

With SVDDEN DEATH sitting on this much unreleased music, his Deadroom project surely has a promising future worth watching. Take a listen to the full mix below.
