Speakers urged the Governor and CalRecycle to adhere to the letter and intent of the law, while others will outline the consequences of proceeding with inadequate regulations.

The event featured letters addressed to Gov. Newsom, a pile of packaging waste, and advocates and students holding signs.

Senator Ben Allen, Senator Catherine Blakespear, Assemblymember Gregg Hart, Assemblymember Isaac Bryan, Assemblymember Dawn Addis and Assemblymember Steve Bennett will all be in attendance, along with many organizations.
