Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky deny divorce rumors

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kyle Richards and husband Mauricio Umansky may be going through a rough patch, but they’re not divorcing, they say.

“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram statement late on Monday night. “However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage.

Richards and Umansky told followers they “love and respect each other tremendously” and there has been “no wrongdoing” in their relationship.

“Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately,” they added. “While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative. Thank you for the love and support.”

Earlier on Monday, People reported that the Beverly Hills duo had separated after 27 years of marriage. “Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof,” a source told the magazine. “They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”

Richards, a former child star known for her parts in “Little House on the Prairie” and “Halloween,” tied the knot with Umansky, a real estate broker, in 1996. They have three daughters — Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15 — in addition to Farrah Brittany, Kyle’s 34-year-old daughter from her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.

Following the report of Richards and Umansky’s separation, “RHOBH” fans recalled a 2010 episode of the Bravo reality show, in which self-styled medium Allison DuBois told Richards that her husband “will never emotionally fulfill” her. (“Know that,” DuBois added for emphasis.)

On Monday, DuBois discussed the news on Instagram. “My phone is blowing up from reporters now that Kyle and Mauricio have separated,” she wrote. “So, here’s my comment: I don’t wish Kyle ill, I hope she finds what she’s looking for. I guess I’m the only one who ‘saw’ this coming. … Mic drop.”
