Christmas has quite literally come early this year, thanks to Kaskade.

He’s gifted us a surprise worth more than mistletoe kisses: the announcement of a brand-new Christmas album. Six years in the making, Kaskade Christmas Vol. 2 follows the runaway success of 2017’s fan-favorite holiday album, a staple for fans of electronic music.

And who could forget Kaskade Christmas? The album was the dance music equivalent of a winter wonderland, breathing new life into Yuletide anthems of yesteryear, like “Deck the Halls” and “Silent Night.” Considering its warm and nostalgic sound, the album also became a hit with the vinyl community.

Kaskade is set to release the album’s first single, “Caroling Caroling,” on Friday along frequent collaborators Late Night Alumni. The track is presumably a rework of Nat King Cole’s song of the same name, which released back in 1960.

However, he has not yet revealed the release date of Kaskade Christmas Vol. 2. It’s also unclear at the moment whether or not he’s planning a vinyl run, but fans can certainly hold out hope due to the test pressing in a video he shared to reveal the album.

Check out Kaskade’s announcement and a preview of “Caroling Caroling” below.
