One of the year’s most beloved duos in dance music is back with what could be another hit in 2024.

John Summit took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to tease another collaboration with Hayla after the two released “Where You Are,” one of the year’s biggest electronic songs.

Unsurprising to most, it’s already shaping up to be a hit with Hayla’s stentorian vocals front and center. Summit shared a video from a recent recording session before posting again in the thread with a snippet of the song, which is tentatively titled “Shiver.”

The teaser arrives shortly after Summit revealed he’s recording his debut album. The surging Chicago producer has said the album will diversify his discography and include techno and drum & bass, among other genres.

It’s not yet clear whether or not “Shiver” will appear on the album. Summit has not announced the album’s title or release date at the time of writing.
