Bridgehampton will be home to Arthur & Sons, which is opening at 203 Bridgehampton Sag Harbor Turnpike in May.

Joe Isidori, a Michelin star chef, is paying tribute to his family’s three generations in the New York restaurant scene, with a menu filled with “old school” Italian American red-sauce favorites.  The restaurant also has a location in Manhattan’s West Village.

Now, Isidori is gearing up to welcome guests to the East End restaurant, which can seat 70, with an additional 15 seats at the bar, and during the warm weather, an outdoor patio that can seat 30.

“The Hamptons has always been a second home for me,” Isidori said in a news release about his latest restaurant.

“I spent many of my early years of my career working in the Hamptons,” he added. “I have always had a true love and passion for all things out east, so it’s nice to bring a piece of my personal heritage to the community for all to experience.”

Isidori grew up in the restaurant business. In addition to being a cookbook author, he is also a cofounder and cocreator of Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beers, with locations in the United States and around the world.

But with Arthur & Sons, his focus is on New York Italian family recipes.

That means, for appetizers, meatballs with ricotta, Caesar salad, fried calamari, baked clams oreganata and sausage and peppers with shaved provolone, with prices ranging from $17 to $28. Entrees range from $29 and $45 and feature spicy rigatoni alla vodka, chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi, spaghetti carbonara and veal marsala.

And there are house specialties – among them, chicken alla vodka, eggplant parmigiana and rigatoni alla Norma “Al Forno.”

Desserts include “Spumoni My Way” with a Nutella base, homemade pistachio ice cream with almond extract and other ingredients.

The wine list features a crafted selection from producers such as Brunello di Montalcino and Sassicaia Tenuta San Guido, as well as classic Italian wines including Sartori, Giovanni Rosso and Vermentino di Sardegna. There is also a selection of cocktails and mocktails.

Carrying a Hampton vibe with its rustic tones, the restaurant also features vintage Tiffany lights, red candles, and “Rat Pack” artwork and photos.

With hours from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., the restaurant will be open year-round, and will accept reservations via RESY.
