Over the weekend, Jay-Z performed his first show in four years at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris to mark the opening of the ‘Basquiat x Warhol. Painting Four Hands’ exhibition. During the performance, he debuted a new version of his 2009 hit ‘Empire State of Mind’ that mashes up the original with Gil Scott-Heron’s 2011 song ‘New York Is Killing Me’.
